SuPeR PiA

Jus came online for a while mum's out..all ritex, i am Geography Crazy..soo much things to memorise..guess u can say i am doing last min work..now i am currently at e chapter of rivers which is 27..Let me rmb wat i have learnt..

The shape of a valley depends on how the river cuts into the land along which it is flowing. In the upper course of the river, the river is flowing down very steep slopes. This causes the river to flow very quickly, enabling it to build up enough energy to cause quick downward erosion. Over time, the river cuts deep into the land and a V-shaped valley with very steep sides is formed. In the middle course of the river, the river flows across land that is not so steep. The river cuts less deep into its channel, eroding the land sideways as well as downwards. At this point, the river also starts to deposit some of its sediments. Thus, the sides of the valley become wider, making the valley broader. In the lower course of a river, the bends in the river become very pronounced and more sediments are deposited. Erosion of the banks continues. The deposition of sediments along its channel results in the formation of a wide, flat-floored valley.

kk, gg mug somemore..u are rite zhonghan, let's jus imagine we are masked riders fighting e "monsters!"Defeat erm..and be victorious!
